ben Morsberger

Ben Morsberger is a native New Yorker who followed his late father’s footsteps, pursuing music at a young age. He started his first band Cable with Tracy Antonopoulos at Cooper Union. Since then, Ben has written music for shorts like Ryan McGinley’s “Entrance Romance” for the Nowness, and worked alongside Gia Coppola on her films for Conde Nast, Vogue and Gucci. Ben reunited with Tracy Antonopolous and Gia Coppola on a short film for Peroni which was featured in The New York Times. He also contributed sound design for Deering Regan on his short film featuring Tonstartssbandht and Mac Demarco, and worked with Spike Jonze on both his Beastie Boys music video “Don’t Play No Game I Can’t Win,” and his critically acclaimed feature film Her. Ben’s band Cable has been featured in Billboard, Noisey, MTV, Elle, Nylon, Opening Ceremony, Bullett, and Semaine. In 2016, his new band Juice Jackal was featured in the FW ’16 Alexander Wang runway show. He released the first record in November 2017.  Ben also plays guitar and keyboard in the band Blood Orange.
