ACES

ACES is the moniker of Alex Stewart which takes its name from her initials. The Canadian born New Yorker is the voice and direction of the multidisciplinary project. ACES first appeared in 2015 with her single "I'm Already Gone" reaching over a million streams on Spotify.

Born in Ottawa in May of 1989, she is not only a classically trained pianist but also a film editor who often works alongside her filmmaker husband. Her film projects have taken her from rose harvesting in Turkey to kimono designers in Kyoto and has included work for Marc Jacobs, Sephora and The New York Times (fashion).  Along with her personal music videos for ACES, you can find her video work featured on Delta flights, Nowness and W Magazine.

Alex shares her time between NYC and her home in the Hudson Valley; dedicating time to her work in music and video editing. She has several collaborations due for release in 2018.
